The mission of the Everest Credit Union Foundation is to promote the education, health and emotional well-being of our members in our communities.

Everest Credit Union is proud to have founded the Everest Credit Union Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (part of EFCU) established to benefit most vulnerable members of our community and their families and to support educational initiatives and other necessities. The foundation is a vehicle for Everest to support the communities we serve and help the people who live here. Since its inception in 2018, the Foundation has plan to raised and donated over $10 million in next 5 years to help provide a better future for our community members.

- The Everest Credit Union Foundation is sponsored entirely by the Everest Federal Credit Union
- Each time a member uses a Everest debit or credit card for a purchase, we donate two cents to the Foundation to fund local initiatives
- One hundred percent of the funds are contributed to organizations and initiatives that assist members and children that are in most need in the communities Everest serves
- Everest Federal Credit Union aim to provide over $10 million in funding for the Foundation through this program
Everest Scholarship
From 2025, the Everest Credit Union Foundation aim to provide scholarships to students pursuing higher education. Scholarships are available to high school seniors who reside in the states served by the credit union physical branch, who demonstrate a need for financial assistance, possess leadership abilities and achieve high academic performance. Everest will select 5 high-achieving students each year to provide $1,000 each to support their education journey.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must attend a public school and must be a high school senior.
- Scholarships recipients must enroll in an accredited 4-year college or university, or a 2-year college or technical school.
- The school must be located in states where Everest have physical branch. Scholarships recipients must begin classes the following academic year of scholarship receipt.
